A house concert provides a quiet listening environment in an informal setting for a limited audience to enjoy performing musicians up close and personal. NB House Concerts is in a private home where you are invited to join Chip and Marvin in a gathering as friends and guests to enjoy live acoustic music, fellowship, food (potluck supper) coffee, iced tea, plates etc. provided. This concert party is officially free, although voluntary contributions (suggested $10 cash donation) are accepted at the door on behalf of the artists. 100% of all contributions go directly to the performers. “NB House Concerts” is simply a name we choose to describe our private party in our private home. Reservations requested.

Chip Dolan and Marvin Dykhuis are familiar faces in the Austin acoustic and blues scene, tastefully complimenting one another’s songs, words and music. They are friends who collaborate frequently and their talent helps give their house concerts a unique and special sound. They’re both singers-songwriters, with a unique way of blending their individual styles. They’ll warm your heart and soul during this evening of special performance.
